Embossed wedding invitations

A great way to add to the personalization of your wedding is with embossed wedding invitations. Not everyone goes with this idea, but embossing always seems to make things look so official. Maybe you were a member of a group in school, or an organization, and wanted to add a special embossed logo just for those folks. If so then getting an embosser is not a bad investment.

People are sure to recognize the detail the more personal you make your invitation. So if your up for an extra hour of embossing, why not do it yourself. Or if not there are many companies online which you can find that will provide this service. If you decide to go with a local company, just check with your local print shops. This stuff can get a bit pricey.

Also keep in mind that all high end stores carry embossers which can be customized relative to the monogram or return addresses on the envelopes. I often do custom designs that can be used either in conjunction with an address.
Embossing can also be added in various touches on the actual invitation. Not all printers do this type of printing. There is no ink involved, unless it is foil embossed, and it is expensive. There are two printing plates involved. Be sure to ask an experienced high end retailer or printer.
