The possibilities for party favors is endless. Literally. Everyday there is a new favor, it seems. Here’s a new sweet one, for example. Many candy companies sell custom wrappers with your words of choice such as the names and dates of your event.

Another favor is tiny, colorful paper boxes in the shape of practically anything that serve as an adorable container for your candy or trinket of choice to give as gift for your guests. Tiny wedding themed puzzles to pass the time while your guests wait for the bride and groom or for their meals. Pictures of the bride and groom uniquely framed or even engraved onto a variety of surfaces. Disposable cameras that guests can take pictures with and turn in at the end of the wedding.

Another simple and inexpensive wedding idea is to have wedding rubber stamps. You could use them for all sorts of things, whether it be as a wedding favor for your guests, or using to add a personal message or signature to invitations of your shower, wedding, or other occasions in the future. Some of the places you can get them locally in your area would be Michael’s, Anne’s, and even some Hobby Lobby locations.

Just keep in mind that if you want to have someone customize them for you it is going to cost a little extra, but it will well be worth it. Especially if you have something made that can be used over and over again. Simple wedding ideas like this can go a long way so take a little time and look into it a bit further.

Author:Laura M.  | Categories : Wedding Reviews

One of the most important parts of your wedding is the presentation. You will have to decide whether you want to go with a modern look or just a simple classic look. I can’t think of anyone who does it better on the more modern side of things that Wedding Paper Divas. They have some very unique invitations I must say. You won’t find some of the designs they produce anywhere else on the internet. I think I love the style because its, well.. modern.

If I were to explain in a few words, its like mixing sharp designs with a soft look. Some of the features I would like to highlight when you visit their website is the ‘letterpress’ design cards. They are simply exquisite, with a unique blend of color. Even the envelopes they go in look good. They have a great group of designers working for them so you always know you are getting something thats personalized.

We know that Wedding Paper Divas will have continued success with the new Ecru products they have released as well. The customer service is top notch, and the prices I have found are very reasonable for the quality of what you are receiving. So if you haven’t purchased your wedding invitations as of yet, you might want to take a visit to Wedding Paper Divas and see whats fresh. If you really enjoy their designs and are looking for other types of stationary or cards then head on over to the parent company Tiny Prints. Wedding Mystery Shopping

Author:Laura M.  | Categories : Saving Money

Here is a tip for those of you who may have a tight budget to work with for your wedding, or may just want to save some extra cash along the way. Since you know there will be stores and shops that you will not only be browsing along the way but taking your time trying on things, why not do it as a mystery shopper?

There are a lot of different websites that pay you for mystery shopping. Or even if they don’t pay you, they may give you a gift certificate or a coupon to use on your next visit. If that’s the case you could probably save a couple hundred dollars on purchases by going to some of the right places and trying or testing what you might have already looked at anyways.

This may not be for everyone as some of the companies that run mystery shopping will want you to fill out a form on paper or online about your shopping experience. If this is not for you then thats ok too. But if your not pressed for time, and you want to save that extra cash, then this will be a perfect opportunity. If you want to become a mystery shopper, you can visit MysteryShop.org for a list of all the certified member companies.

Keep it simple! As much as you have on your mind, you don’t need anymore distracting you on this big day! Call around to salons in your area, see what they offer as far as wedding packages. IE: manis, pedis, make-up, hair styles, even teeth whitening. Know what you want, but be open minded to other styles. Have a good idea, but not set in stone. You will be a lot happier & a lot better off if you are willing to compromise a bit. Have fun! This is your day! Make it special, not a burden! Allow enough time to get your hair done and have plenty of time left to spare.

Romantic wedding destinations

Author:Laura M.  | Categories : location

Choosing where you will have your wedding is a very important part relating to your guests. Obviously not everyone will be able to afford to go to Hawaii should you decide you want to have your wedding there. On the other hand, having your wedding locally may not always be what you had in mind either. Sometimes you will need to come to a middle ground, or depending on how big your wedding may be, you may decide to go with an exotic location. For the sake of keeping in line with romantic wedding destinations, below are a list of some of the places you might want to consider.

  • Hawaii
  • Cozumel, Mexico
  • Inverlochy Castle, Fort William, Scotland
  • Mauritius, Indian Ocean
  • Le Château d’Esclimont, France

If you are looking for something a bit more closer to home you can still travel a distance, but at a relatively lower price than the previous mentioned. Here are some places scattered around the interconnected states that you might consider.

  • San Antonio Texas Riverwalk
  • Wave Hill, New York, NY
  • Chicago Botanic Gardens
  • Columbia Gorge Hotel, Hood River, OR
  • Legion of Honor, San Francisco, CA
  • Longfellow’s Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA

While there are probably many more romantic wedding destinations to go to, it is always a good idea to consult with those closest involved with the wedding to see what suggestions you might receive as well. Afterall the day of the wedding is about the Bride and Groom, but what better way to celebrate than with the best of friends there.

Most also come with a very handy drawstring that can keep what you have inside tucked away nicely.

This can also save you time in case you were planning on using bows to wrap each one, which may be just an added thing you don’t really need to do. Remember to that most companies that sell the organza wedding favor bags will discount the price if you order in quantities of 100 or more.
